Apranga Group profit in August 2006
The consolidated unaudited profit before taxes of Apranga Group,
the leader of retail apparel market in Lithuania and in Baltic
States, was LTL 2.9 million (EUR 838 thousand) in August, and was
2.6 times higher than in August last year. Apranga Group
consolidated profit before taxes totaled LTL 9.59 million
(EUR 2.78 million) in first 8 months this year, or 2.7 times more,
than in the same period last year.
The retail turnover of Apranga Group has made LTL 29.6 million
(EUR 8.6 million) (VAT included) in August 2006 increasing by 57.2%
comparing to August 2005. This is an absolute monthly turnover
record for Apranga Group. Retail turnover of Apranga Group in Baltic
States in January through August 2006 was LTL 171.9 million
(EUR 49.8 million), and has increased by 45%.
This year Apranga Group has already opened 12 new stores and
currently owns 62 stores in the Baltic States.
