APRANGA successfully fulfils expansion plans
On October 12th, the leader of clothing retail market in Lithuania
and Baltic States Apranga Group is opening a conceptually new store
Apranga in Vilnius, “BIG” trade center, with the area of 650 sq. m.
"Apranga Group is rapidly expanding its family fashion oriented chain
of Apranga stores. We are expanding both in big cities and regional
centers. We always choose the most comfortable locations for the
customer. Trade center “BIG” was chosen because of proximity to newly
formed living districts and the current direction of city expansion”
– claims the general manager of Apranga Group Rimantas Perveneckas.
Apranga stores are meant for all family members. It is not only clothes
of the biggest European manufacturers, but also a wide variety of
Lithuanian production. A special attention is paid to development of own
brands, which helps to satisfy customers’ needs better. Company currently
makes goods with own brands in Italy, Poland, Lithuania, and Far East.
These goods can only be bought in Apranga stores.
Apranga Group owns a network of 62 stores in Baltic States: 46 in
Lithuania, 15 in Latvia and 1 in Estonia. This year Apranga Group has
already opened 15 new stores. Next week Apranga Group is planning to
open two luxury stores in Tallinn, capital of Estonia.
During first 9 months the retail turnover of Apranga Group was
LTL 203.1 million (EUR 58.8 million), and increased by 47.4%, as compared
to the same period of 2005. In September Apranga group has reached an
absolute record of monthly turnover and for the first time exceeded
LTL 30 million. Monthly turnover was LTL 31.1 million (EUR 9.0 million),
or 62.2% more than in September 2005 – it is the biggest monthly turnover
increase this year.
