“We consider the shopping mall Riga Plaza to be a strategically important
shopping centre in the Baltic States. We suppose that it will be one of the
last objects newly opened in the region in the coming several years. The total
area of our stores in Riga Plaza will be almost 5,600 square metres” says
Rimantas Perveneckas, General Director of Apranga Group.
The shopping mall Riga Plaza will house 10 stores operated by the group,
including Zara, the family store Apranga, youth stores Mango, Bershka, Pull and
Bear, Stradivarius and Moskito (Diesel, Firetrap, G-Star, Miss Sixty, Energie,
Jack&Jones, Broadway, and Only brands), s.Oliver, Mexx, and City women.
Opening of the new stores will be followed by further business optimisation in
Latvia - closing or reorganising non-effectively operating stores in the centre
of Riga.
Currently, the group operates a chain of 117 stores in the Baltic States: 76 in
Lithuania, 32 in Latvia, and 9 in Estonia.
